Reading Horizons offers US educators free access to its Discovery LIVE literacy tool
Reading Horizons, which provides tech-enabled literacy tools, has announced that it is offering free access to its Teacher Edition License to teachers across the US.
The platform offers teachers digital lessons, without the need for setting up student accounts, rosters or administrative setup. Teachers can immediately use the tool to deliver effective reading instruction, without any implementation barriers
The free access offers real-time coaching videos, instructional summaries, and modeling for all lessons in K-3. The offers also includes onboarding emails, embedded video walkthroughs and a digital support library.
“Teachers deserve instructional resources that respect their time and elevate their practice,” explains Tyson Smith, CEO at Reading Horizons. “Offering Discovery LIVE to educators at no cost allows them to experience the power of Structured Literacy firsthand–and supports our mission to help every student learn to read. ”
Discovery LIVE is part of a wider suite of resources that also includes student learning software, print materials, including decodable books, and administrative tools, data dashboards, and progress reports.
Last year, Reading Horizons relaunched The Science of Reading Collective (SoR Collective), a community aimed at supporting literacy leaders and educators with resources aligned to the science of reading research. The updated platform incorporates AI to help members connect based on shared interests and experiences. The platform will continue to provide classroom resources and professional development to assist teachers and administrators in implementing evidence-based reading instruction.
