MyTutor partners with DreamWorks Animation ahead of Bad Guys 2 film release
The UK-based tutoring platform has launched a new collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, combining academic support with a promotional campaign for the animated film Bad Guys 2.
MyTutor has announced a new marketing collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures to support the release of Bad Guys 2. The partnership, shared in a LinkedIn post by Alex MacMillan, Director of Marketing at MyTutor, links summer tutoring with the film’s characters and themes.
“This is a biggy,” writes MacMillan. “I'm super excited to share that MyTutor.co.uk and DreamWorks Animation are launching a major partnership for the release of BAD GUYS 2.”
According to the post, students and families will see the Bad Guys characters “feature across MyTutor,” and those booking a tutoring session will be entered into a competition to win a trip to Paris. MacMillan notes: “Every heist (and exam), needs a solid plan!”
MyTutor followed up with additional promotional details in a separate post: “We’ve teamed up with THE BAD GUYS 2 crew to help you ace your 11+ and 13+ exams, and get ready for Year 7 and beyond. Plus, if you book a lesson with our top tutors today, you could be in with the chance of winning the ultimate trip to Paris for you and your family!”
Founded in the UK, MyTutor is an online platform that connects students with vetted one-to-one tutors through live video. It provides academic support across subjects and key stages and works with schools and individual families. According to the company, over 1,500 schools have used its services, and more than half a million lessons have been delivered.
RTIH AI in Retail Awards
Our sister title, RTIH, organiser of the industry leading RTIH Innovation Awards, proudly brings you the first edition of the RTIH AI in Retail Awards, which is now open for entries.
As we witness a digital transformation revolution across all channels, AI tools are reshaping the omnichannel game, from personalising customer experiences to optimising inventory, uncovering insights into consumer behaviour, and enhancing the human element of retailers' businesses.
With 2025 set to be the year when AI and especially gen AI shake off the ‘heavily hyped’ tag and become embedded in retail business processes, our newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world and the resulting benefits for retailers, shoppers and employees.
Our 2025 winners will be those companies who not only recognise the potential of AI, but also make it usable in everyday work - resulting in more efficiency and innovation in all areas.
Winners will be announced at an evening event at The Barbican in Central London on Wednesday, 3rd September.
