Medly AI and m2r Education join forces to support AI adoption in schools
U.K.-based recruitment, training, and tutoring provider m2r Education announces new partnership with EdTech startup Medly AI.
The partnership will allow m2r Education to offer artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, tailored support to students studying for GSCEs, iGCSEs, A Levels and the International Baccalaureate.

Founded by former NHS doctors Paul Jung and Kavi Samra in London, U.K., Medly AI was created to address educational inequalities through technology. The platform’s AI-driven features include real-time marking of exam papers, interactive question-solving, adaptive learning tools, and personalised tutoring.

In February, Medly AI announced it had secured £1.7 million in seed funding, led by Eka Ventures with participation from Ada Ventures, as the company looks to expand its AI-driven tutoring platform designed for GCSE and A-Level students.

Medly Atlas: A visual learning tool, Medly Atlas maps out the student’s entire exam curriculum as interactive islands that evolve based on their progress.
Mastery Learning with Adaptive Practice Questions: The app generates algorithm-based practice questions that adjust to the student’s ability level, keeping sessions challenging but achievable.
Learn Through Conversation: Medly AI provides personalised lessons based on neuroscience and proven educational theories. The lessons are tailored to the student’s exam curriculum.
Friendly Learning Companion: Medly AI tracks each student’s progress over time, learning from interactions within the app. It identifies weak topics and provides actionable suggestions to improve exam performance, ensuring a continuous improvement cycle.
