LottaLingo launches International Mobility Platform offering expert language certification guidance
LottaLingo, founded by ex-Google engineer Ian Zhang, has announced its launch, offering international language certification courses.

LottaLingo connects students and professionals with certified language examiners to help them prepare for exams.
"Language proficiency is often the gatekeeper to global opportunities," Zhang explains. "You need a DALF C1 to lead that team in Paris. An IELTS 7.5 blocks your path to graduate school in New York. We're starting here because it's where ambitious people get stuck, but we see language certification as just the beginning.”
While a growing number of AI-powered language tools are available online, LottaLingo says these cannot replace the role of a language examiner, particularly for those preparing for in-person assessments.
“General purpose language platforms are great for hobbyists, but they have little to no expertise in navigating the rigor, pressure, and nuances a language exam brings,” Zhang adds. “Our clients are working towards an international opportunity, so they're willing to invest their time, and pay a premium, to unlock another part of the world.”
LottaLingo now plans to expand partnerships beyond language certification, offering support from immigration lawyers, visa consultants, and universities to support the full mobility journey.
