LEGO Group continues free creativity workshop series with botanical-themed events online and in stores
Following the success of its first Creativity Workshop in April, the LEGO Group has announced plans for a second Creativity Workshop series in 2025, centered around the theme of botanicals.

Content creator Christopher Griffin, who posts as Plant Kween, leads the LEGO Group’s Creativity Workshop, available online.
Available online and in-stores, the events are aimed at children aged between six and 12-years-old and are offered free of charge. The Creativity Workshops are part of LEGO Group’s commitment to championing girls’ creativity, with other themed events planned throughout the year focusing on friendship, botanicals and summer fun.
The online workshop will be hosted by New York-based content creator Christopher Griffin, who posts online as Plant Kween. It will be shared on the LEGO Group’s website, offering creative inspiration for making a variety of Lego botanical structures.
Griffin will demonstrate how to create nature-themed Lego builds including a plant pot, vase and a desk plant.
"I've always felt a deep connection to nature, and love decorating my home with botanicals. I'm so excited about this opportunity to celebrate the joy and beauty that plants bring into our lives, one brick at a time,” Griffin comments. “What makes this especially meaningful is seeing young people get involved, using their imaginations to build, explore, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world. It's hands-on, joyful learning that truly plants the seeds for creativity and connection."
Two in-store workshops will see LEGO Brick Specialists helping children create their own butterfly gardens, taking place on June 28 and June 29. The interactive, guided experiences are designed to spark curiosity and encourage children’s creativity, helping them develop an appreciation for plants and nature.
Earlier this year, LEGO launched LEGO Education Science, a new resource designed to support science education for students aged 5-14. The program includes more than 120 lessons aligned with educational standards in the U.S. and will be available from August 2025.
