ETIH Innovation Awards: Best AI-powered EdTech solution USA and Canada shortlist focuses on deployment

AI-driven platforms across the USA and Canada show how personalization, automation, and decision-making are delivering measurable outcomes in education.

As part of our ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 category spotlight series, we are taking a closer look at the categories shaping this year’s inaugural awards. With over 140 entries submitted, the breadth and quality of innovation across the EdTech sector has been clear.

This category focuses on AI-powered solutions developed across the USA and Canada, with winners set to be announced on May 11.

Where AI is moving from experimentation to application

Best AI-powered EdTech solution (USA and Canada) focuses on platforms applying artificial intelligence across learning, teaching, and operational environments. This includes tools supporting personalization, automating processes, generating insights, and enabling more informed decision-making.

Judges are looking for evidence that AI is being applied in real-world education settings, rather than remaining at the experimental stage. This includes how effectively platforms integrate into workflows, how clearly they demonstrate measurable outcomes, and how responsibly AI is deployed.

The category reflects a shift from exploratory AI use toward solutions that deliver consistent, scalable impact across institutions, classrooms, and support systems.
