ETIH Innovation Awards: Best AI-powered EdTech solution RoW shortlist shows global AI in action
AI-driven platforms across global markets show how personalization, pedagogy, and automation are being applied beyond core regions.
As part of our ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 category spotlight series, we are taking a closer look at the categories shaping this year’s inaugural awards. With over 140 entries submitted, the breadth and quality of innovation across the EdTech sector has been clear.
This category focuses on AI-powered solutions developed across the rest of the world, with winners set to be announced on May 11.
Where global AI solutions are adapting to diverse education systems
Best AI-powered EdTech solution (RoW) focuses on platforms applying artificial intelligence across a wide range of education contexts outside the USA and Canada. This includes tools designed for different curricula, languages, and learning environments, often requiring greater flexibility and localization.
Judges are looking for evidence that AI is delivering measurable outcomes in these varied settings. This includes how effectively platforms adapt to local needs, how they integrate into existing systems, and whether they demonstrate consistent impact across different user groups.
The category reflects how AI development in education is not limited to major markets, with solutions emerging globally that combine pedagogy, accessibility, and practical application in ways that respond to specific regional challenges.
