Casio America updates its EdTech team with two new leaders and a streamlined calculator portfolio

Marko Wityk, Senior General Manager, EdTech
Consumer technology company Casio has named Marko Wityk as its new Senior General Manager and Tetsuya ‘Yo’ Yonehara as Deputy Senior General Manager in its EdTech department.
The two appointments come as Casio shares a renewed focus on streamlining its calculator portfolio to better serve students from middle school into college.
Wityk previously led Casio’s retail business and will now additionally oversee its educational sales operations.
The expanded role puts him at the helm of the EdTEch division as Casio looks to modernize its business.
Wityk will guide product development and business growth while steering the company’s response to evolving educational demands.
"Our goal is to simplify the learning experience for students and educators alike," Wityk says.
"With the new Classwiz branding, we're creating a more seamless transition between scientific and graphing calculators, so students can focus on learning, not relearning."
Yonehara will support Wityk as Deputy Senior General Manager, bringing experience in educational marketing and outreach in Japan.
Cassio’s Classwiz update aims to provide a consistent user experience across product tiers and reduce friction as students progress through increasingly complex math and science.
Cassio also aims to minimize learning curves between calculator models and ensure students have intuitive, test-ready devices for every academic stage.
With the two new appointments, Casio says it is “poised to evolve beyond traditional hardware and toward a more holistic, streamlined solution for modern learners” and mode toward a more “strategic, and student-centric” approach.
