Canva is running a series of UK Learning Labs for educators in June 2026, with sessions covering Canva AI, Canva Code, creative classroom projects, productivity tools, and practical resources for schools and colleges.
The events follow recent Canva Learning Labs in Liverpool, Glasgow, and Birmingham. Jade Parkinson-Hill, UK Education Community Manager at Canva, wrote on LinkedIn that the upcoming summer term events include Leeds on 5 June and Bristol on 12 June.
Canva will then run four London Learning Labs from 22 to 25 June at The Bersey, 293 Old Street. The London program is split by education audience, with sessions covering primary teachers, secondary teachers, school leaders, and post-16 or further education lecturers.
The events are designed for teachers, school leaders, curriculum specialists, digital skills staff, and AI leads. Schools and multi-academy trusts can register multiple team members, although each person must sign up individually and registration does not guarantee a place.
Canva AI and Canva Code added to workshop lineup
Parkinson-Hill wrote on LinkedIn that attendees could "Explore the latest Canva Create 2026 features", "Get hands-on with Canva AI and Canva Code", "Take away practical resources and classroom-ready ideas", and "Discover new ways to boost creativity, collaboration, and productivity".
The Learning Labs page lists workshops on Canva Polls, Collaborative Whiteboards, Canva Code, Canva AI, Magic Write, Canva Video, Magic Switch, Bulk Create, Canva Sheets, and lesson planning.
The workshop themes include student creativity, interactive learning, personalized lesson content, classroom portfolios, productivity tools, and collaborative planning.
One session focuses on helping students create professional creative projects in Canva, including collaborative scripting, recording, video editing, audio editing, and sharing work.
Another workshop covers Magic Write, AI voiceovers, and custom videos as tools for adapting learning content and creating more personalized classroom materials.
Regional sessions continue after spring events
Canva’s 2026 UK Learning Labs have already taken place in Liverpool on 23 April, Glasgow on 29 April, and Birmingham on 22 May.
Parkinson-Hill continued on LinkedIn: "I have LOVED reading feedback from educators who attended our recent Learning Labs in Liverpool, Glasgow, and Birmingham."
She added: "It’s been fantastic to see teachers and leaders share ideas, practical insights, and enthusiasm from the sessions."
The Leeds Learning Lab is scheduled for 5 June at The Studio, 19 Whitehall Road. Bristol follows on 12 June at M Shed.
The event page says participants can expect sessions from the Canva team, workshops led by Canvassador Expert Teachers, hands-on activities, and teacher toolkits for rolling out Canva for Education.
London events split by education stage
The London Learning Labs will close the current run of events with four sessions across different parts of the education sector.
The London schedule covers primary, secondary, school leadership, and post-16 or further education. Each session is scheduled to run from 9am to 3pm at The Bersey in Old Street.
Parkinson-Hill wrote: "Following last year’s London Learning Labs, we wanted to go bigger this year."
She added that the goal is "to leave you inspired with actionable ideas."
