SMART Technologies launches new affordable interactive display board at ITSE 2025
SMART Technologies, a display and software provider, has announced the launch of a new interactive display board set to debut at International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), held in San Antonio from June 29 - July 2 2025.

The SMART Board GX Plus offers modern learning experiences at affordable prices, as schools look to invest in new technology amid a changing funding landscape.
The displays allow multiple users to write, erase, and interact at the same time without interfering with each other. It integrates with Android, Google EDLA, and Microsoft software, allowing teachers to use the tools and resources they are comfortable with and also offers built-in teaching tools.
The boards support AI-driven teaching tools that save time, such as quiz generation, text and shape recognition and Gemini interoperability to create lesson content and provide and “AI lens” to identify images and solve math problems. SMART Technologies also claims the boards offer greater energy efficiency than rival devices.
"For many schools and districts, the real challenge lies in delivering powerful, reliable tools for learning without overextending their budgets," explains Nicholas Svensson, CEO at SMART Technologies.
"At SMART, we don't just build technology for the classroom – we build it to last, to connect educators and students, and to meet, and exceed the highest standards for technology. The SMART Board GX Plus is proof that schools can invest in high-quality, future-ready technology without compromising on security, longevity and value."
The news comes shortly after SMART Technologies unveiled three new interactive displays and teaching tools at ISE 2025.
