ParentPay Group’s Reading Cloud announces new support school libraries with free digital-first offering
Reading Cloud, a library management software owned by ParentPay Group, is supporting UK primary schools to open new libraries.

Schools in the UK can access Reading Cloud free for one year, or at a reduced rate for three years, and access a 30 percent discount on books from specialist supplier Peters through the scheme.
Reading Cloud streamlines library administration and supports schools to build a digital-first library which provides insights into children’s reading habits and supports targeted interventions.
Research from ParentPay Group has previously found that 89 percent of school leaders believe early literacy support can improve attendance and behaviour, although four in ten still report widespread struggles with literacy.
“Libraries are one of the most effective interventions schools can make when addressing literacy challenges – but only if they go beyond books. However, many schools lack the time, staff or systems to manage a library effectively, placing extra strain on already overstretched teachers and school leaders,” comments Anish Patel, School Governor and Chief Strategy Officer at ParentPay Group.
“Modern school libraries need three essentials: adult champions who guide and encourage pupils, a culture that makes reading visible, social and celebrated, and tools – including technology – that help track progress and increase engagement. These are what turn libraries into transformative spaces, not just symbolic ones.”
