OpenAI expands Champion Network to drive AI fluency and enterprise adoption

OpenAI has announced that its Champion Network team is expanding. The update was shared in a LinkedIn post by Christina Meng, who leads community engagement for the program.
Meng wrote, “I’m so excited to share that the OpenAI Champion Network team is growing! You’ll get to work with some of the most inspiring AI leaders in the world, our Champions, who are driving AI transformation inside their organizations every day.”
The Champion Network sits within OpenAI’s GTM Readiness team and focuses on enabling organizations to adopt AI effectively while ensuring responsible and transparent use.
Supporting enterprise learning and adoption
The open role, Customer Education Community Manager, Champion Network, is based in San Francisco. According to the job listing, the position involves scaling global programs that teach AI fluency, connect enterprise customers, and design community-driven learning models.
The role will help expand the company’s education efforts by building “systems and experiences that make Champion learning scalable — turning insights from existing programs into repeatable education and community models that reach thousands of people.”
The company said its Champion Network is a “core pillar of our Customer Education team’s mission: enabling every worker to build real AI fluency and lead responsible adoption across their organizations.”
Part of OpenAI’s wider education strategy
OpenAI’s Readiness division works directly with enterprise clients using ChatGPT and its API, providing training, support, and implementation strategies to help teams deploy AI tools safely and effectively.
The job description states that successful candidates will “design and deliver learning and community experiences, from journeys and playbooks to challenges and recognition programs, that help Champions make real world impact with AI.”
Meng’s post emphasized the broader goal of expanding access to AI education and leadership. The role, she noted, would contribute to OpenAI’s ongoing mission to “help organizations worldwide unlock the potential of AI while upholding OpenAI’s values of safety, responsibility, and transparency.”
The job listing highlights that the role will partner with OpenAI’s product and go-to-market teams to “align champion programs with key adoption and success metrics” while measuring program impact through feedback and data.
Christina Meng concluded her post, “If you’re passionate about creating engaging experiences, scaling education communities, and championing Champions, please apply.”
