Learning with Experts puts 100+ courses into new £189 annual subscription

Learning for Life moves the UK online learning provider beyond individual course purchases, offering more than 2,000 hours of CPD-accredited learning under one membership

Learning with Experts has introduced an annual subscription giving members access to more than 100 of its online courses, changing how the UK digital learning provider sells its consumer course catalog.

The new Learning for Life membership costs £189 a year under an introductory 20% discount and covers more than 600 on-demand lessons, 500 assignments and 2,000 hours of learning.

Until now, learners have largely purchased individual courses. Learning with Experts says the subscription was developed after customers asked for greater freedom to move between subjects without buying each course separately.

The launch comes against comparatively low participation in adult learning in the UK. Figures cited by the company from the Learning and Work Institute show that 21% of UK adults are currently engaged in learning of any kind.

One subscription across multiple subjects

Learning for Life covers gardening, health and wellbeing, cookery, photography, floristry, art and design, jewellery and antiques.

The courses combine on-demand lessons with assignments and collaborative online classrooms. Teachers include Michel Roux, Dr Louise Newson, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Atul Kochhar, Tom Stuart-Smith, Piet Oudolf and Joanna Hardy.

The food and drink catalog also includes 12 new courses from European cookery provider Scoolinary, covering areas including Neapolitan pizza, ramen, Thai cuisine, fresh pasta and pastries.

Founder and CEO Elspeth Briscoe says the subscription is intended to make it easier for adults to continue learning across different interests rather than commit to one subject at a time:

“We want to make lifelong learning a real possibility for more adults. For what you might pay for a single course elsewhere, you can have a whole year to explore new interests, build skills and learn from some of the greats.”

She adds: “Learning becomes valuable when it becomes part of your life - something you can return to and build on.”

Expansion follows ETIH awards recognition

Learning with Experts has spent more than a decade developing online courses spanning consumer learning, professional development and accredited education.

The company won Best Lifelong or Flexible Learning Solution at the 2026 ETIH Innovation Awards, while Briscoe was also named EdTech Thought Leader of the Year.

Its recent expansion has included work in health and wellbeing, professional learning and AI-supported digital education, while the company continues to combine on-demand content with expert-led teaching and interaction between learners.
