HopSkipDrive appoints new COO and CRO to drive growth in USA
HopSkipDrive, a U.S.-based technology company focused on solving school transportation challenges, has named its new Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer.

Tyler Baldwin, Chief Revenue Officer at HopSkipDrive
HopSkipDrive welcomes David Katcher as Chief Operating Officer and Tyler Baldwin as Chief Revenue Officer as it reveals plans to grow and scale in the U.S.
Baldwin joins from CharterUP, where he served as CRO and led the organisation through a period of rapid growth, increasing gross booking from $120 million to more than $200 million.
“I’m thrilled to help drive the next phase of growth for HopSkipDrive,” Baldwin comments. “This is a company with demonstrated product-market fit, an inspiring mission, and a platform that trulymakes a difference in communities. There's a massive opportunity to support more school districts across the country, and we’re just getting started.”
Katcher joins HopSkipDrive from Rula, where he served as COO leading a portfolio of go-to-market and operational teams.
“I’m energized by HopSkipDrive’s mission to create mobility for all, and I’m excited to build the systems and services that allow us to scale with quality,” Katcher says. “Transportation is a gateway to opportunity, and we are here to make sure that access is never out of reach.”
HopSkipDrive says the two appointments reflect its continued investment in scaling its operations and expanding its national footprint to ensure all students have access to safe, reliable transportation. The company partners with school districts to offer care-centered transportation services and AI-driven route planning via its RouteWise AI™ platform.
“David and Tyler are incredible leaders with a deep commitment to impact, and their expertise will be instrumental as we continue to grow and expand our footprint,” adds Joanna McFarland, Co-Founder and CEO at HopSkipDrive. “Their appointments reinforce our focus on quality, safety, and service at scale as we partner with more districts and solve the complex challenges of student transportation.”
The two new appointments come shortly after HopSkipDrive added Horizon’s Dave Lissy to its board.
