Excitement builds ahead of largest ever Aramco STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore as 80 student teams prepare to compete
The Aramco STEM Racing World Finals are due to be held on Sentosa Island, Singapore between 27 September and 2 October 2025.

More than 80 student teams from 30 countries will join the competition, which sees teams tasked with designing and engineering the fastest miniature Formula 1-inspired race car.
For the first time, this year’s event will include four-lane racing instead of the head-to-head races seen in previous years. Four teams will compete simultaneously, adding new technical and mental challenges to the contest.
This year’s final is also set to be the largest STEM World Racing Final to date after more than 80 teams qualified through national contests in 33 countries.
Andrew Denford, Founder and Chairman of STEM Racing, says: “Every year, I say the World Finals will be the biggest and best yet and every year, the teams prove me right. But 2025 truly marks a transformative moment for STEM Racing. With the debut of our custom-designed four-lane track, we’re adding an entirely new layer of excitement and complexity to the competition. It’s a visual and technical spectacle, made possible by the incredible scale of this year’s event, with over 90 teams competing from around the globe.
“Welcoming new countries like Costa Rica to the Finals is always one of the most rewarding parts of our work. Expanding our global reach means more students from diverse backgrounds can experience this life-changing journey—building friendships across borders, sharing cultures, and connecting through a shared passion for STEM.”
