ETIH Innovation Awards 2026: spotlight on Best Digital Learning Platform
This category highlights the digital learning platforms delivering effective content, strong engagement, and measurable impact across education and workforce development.
We’re launching a new series exploring each category in the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026, taking a closer look at what the judges expect and what makes a strong submission. To open the series, we’re focusing on Best Digital Learning Platform, a category that recognizes platforms delivering high-quality digital learning experiences backed by clear evidence of impact across education and workforce learning.
What this category covers
Digital learning platforms now sit at the center of how learners acquire knowledge, develop new skills, and progress through education or workplace training. This category is open to platforms used in K–12, higher education, employer-led training, professional development, and lifelong learning.
Eligible entries may include platforms designed for:
structured curriculum delivery and course content
skills development and upskilling
AI-supported personalization and adaptive learning
assessment, feedback, and learner analytics
blended or independent study
workplace learning, onboarding, and compliance
What judges will look for
Judges will be assessing whether the platform provides an intuitive experience, high-quality content delivery, and meaningful engagement. Evidence of measurable impact is essential.
Entries should address:
the specific educational or workforce challenge the platform seeks to solve
the approach taken, including product design and implementation
how data, analytics, or AI inform learning, feedback, or decision-making
clear, benchmarked improvements in outcomes, efficiency, or user experience
Strong submissions will incorporate quantitative data, such as improvements in attainment, completion, time savings, or engagement, as well as qualitative insights that demonstrate real-world value for learners, educators, or employers.
How to strengthen your submission
Entrants are encouraged to provide context for the platform’s development, including sector research, user needs, or industry trends that shaped its design. This helps the judging panel understand why the platform exists and how it addresses current challenges.
A clear explanation of the methodology, lessons learned, and future plans will also help judges assess the platform’s long-term significance.
Feedback from students, educators, employers, or institutional partners will strengthen a submission. Quotations, survey findings, or documented user reactions help illustrate the platform’s effectiveness and day-to-day value.
