Crayola partners with YouTube and Netflix sensation Ms Rachel for “screen-free, mess-free magic”
Crayola has announced a new partnership with early education specialist and star of YouTube and Netflix Ms Rachel.
The company has launched themed Crayola Color Wonder products that can only be used together, creating less chance for mess or accidents with the pens. Crayola says the products “combine screen-free fun with mess-free magic”.
Crayola also plans to launch the Color Wonder Ms Rachel Magic Light & Sound Brush, which includes sounds. Launching later this year, the brush lights up to correspond with the color of the specially designed paints and are designed to be used alongside Ms Rachel’s songs and educational messaging to create a multi-sensory experience.
The kit will include 12 minutes of Ms Rachel music and educational sounds to be used alongside the coloring kit, including five of her most popular songs. When used in educational mode, the brushes will also include soundbites of Ms Rachel sharing fun color facts.

Ms Rachel is an educator who shares research-based videos aimed at toddlers and their families using songs, games and nursery rhymes to support early learning through her YouTube channel. She has a masters degree in musical education and another in early childhood development.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) currently recommends that children under the age of five spend no more than an hour each day looking at digital devices. WHO also recommends no more than an hour each day for two-year-olds, with less time preferred.
