Bett and GSV join forces to reshape global EdTech event landscape across four continents
Education conference giants Bett and GSV Summit have merged to form a single international platform spanning five events and more than 100,000 across the UK, US, Brazil, and Asia.
Bett and the GSV Summit have announced a merger that will bring together their annual events and global networks under one umbrella.
The combined platform aims to accelerate innovation and collaboration in education technology through a series of large-scale gatherings across the United Kingdom, Brazil, Asia, and the United States.
Bett, established in 1985 and headquartered in London, runs education-focused events in the United Kingdom, São Paulo, and Asia. Its shows attract more than 90,000 attendees annually and are regularly attended by Ministries of Education from over 70 countries. GSV Summit, launched in 2010 in partnership with Arizona State University, is best known for the ASU+GSV Summit in San Diego.
Events will run across four continents
Together, the newly combined network will host five major events across four continents. These include The Show @ ASU+GSV (April 11–13, 2026), the ASU+GSV Summit (April 12–15, 2026), Bett Asia (October 1–2, 2025), Bett UK (January 21–23, 2026), and Bett Brazil (May 5–8, 2026).
Bett and GSV say the merger will provide a more connected community for educators, investors, and policymakers. Keynote speakers from past summits have included Barack Obama, Sheryl Sandberg, Sam Altman, and Bill Gates. The joint venture also intends to expand thought leadership in education, career development, and workforce readiness.
Focus on scale, equity, and innovation
Michael Moe, Co-founder of the GSV Summit, comments: “In a global marketplace and knowledge-based economy, education makes the difference—not only for an individual, but for a company, and even for a country.”
Jean Eddy, President and CEO at American Student Assistance, adds: “ASU+GSV stands out as a premier event that truly makes a difference in the world of education and career development. Innovation was at the forefront, creating a fertile ground for forward-thinking initiatives.”
Tiffany Taylor will serve as President of the new GSV Summit entity, with Deborah Quazzo, Michael Moe, and Michael Cohn named to the Office of the Chair. Adam Freed, Claire Zau, and Jason Horne will join as members of the advisory council.
“GSV stands for Global Silicon Valley—stretching from Boston to Austin, from Chicago to São Paulo, from Mumbai to Shanghai and Dubai,” Moe says.
