Assessment platform PebblePad acquires myday in NorthEdge-backed deal
The deal adds a student engagement portal to PebblePad’s ePortfolio and assessment platform, expanding its reach to more than 200 institutions.
PebblePad has acquired student engagement portal myday, completing its first acquisition since receiving investment from private equity firm NorthEdge.
PebblePad provides an ePortfolio, workbook, and assessment platform used by higher and further education institutions to manage learning, assessment, and reflective practice. myday offers a student engagement portal that acts as a digital access point for academic content, campus services, and institutional communications.
The deal brings the two platforms together under a single product portfolio and increases the combined customer base to more than 200 institutions across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Deal extends PebblePad’s reach across engagement and assessment
By acquiring myday, PebblePad adds a student-facing engagement layer to its existing assessment and learning infrastructure. The company says the combination is intended to support institutions looking to connect learning, assessment, and engagement workflows more closely.
The acquisition also strengthens PebblePad’s position in the US and further education markets, where institutions continue to invest in digital platforms that support retention, employability, and student experience.

NorthEdge supported the transaction through its Fund III, with additional funding provided by HSBC. The firm says the deal represents the ninth bolt-on acquisition completed across its portfolio in the past 12 months.
