Apogee, an independent subsidiary of HP Inc, announces deal to supply states with IT hardware
Apogee, an independent subsidiary of HP Inc, has signed a five-year deal to supply IT hardware to the States of Guernsey, starting on 1 August.

Apogee, which already supplies other public sector organizations in Europe, will deliver IT equipment for use across education, local government, and healthcare organizations. The agreement includes the replacement of approximately 3,000 laptops.
Carl Day, Chief Sales Officer at Apogee, comments: “We are delighted and extremely proud to have been selected by the States of Guernsey to help modernise the user experience across government services. Following months of collaboration between our teams to learn what is important, we are developing a deep understanding of both the current landscape and the future needs of their workplace environment. Co-creating the way forward with the States of Guernsey will undoubtedly deliver a rewarding experience. Our objective is to elevate productivity and maximise efficiency at every opportunity.
“This contract reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering secure, scalable, and sustainable IT services, alongside expert technology lifecycle management. We remain dedicated to supporting the evolving needs of public sector organisations.”
Gé Drossaert, States Chief Digital and Information Officer, adds: “Apogee is a supplier with extensive experience working alongside public sector organisations and comes with the benefits of a global supplier in HP.
“As the latest appointment as part of our new multi-vendor approach, our preparations are taking shape for the new model to come into operation on 1 August. This longer, five-year contract, allows us cost and tech certainty over that full period and to explore possible cost reductions through the more structured approach we will have to hardware security and monitoring.”
