aconso launches real-time HR analytics plugin for workforce performance tracking

The Germany-based HR document software provider introduces aconso Insights, a tool designed to integrate with business intelligence platforms and support data-led HR decision-making.

aconso, a Germany-based provider of HR document management software, has announced the launch of aconso Insights, a plugin that integrates HR data with business intelligence platforms to support performance tracking and analytics. The product is currently in pilot and is expected to be available to existing customers later in 2025.

Founded in 2001, aconso develops cloud-based tools for digitizing and managing HR documentation. Its clients include organizations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the United States. The company supports integration with systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, and SAP HCM.

aconso Insights enables HR teams to analyze process efficiency using data from document workflows. This includes metrics such as time to contract signature, percentage of automated versus manual processing, and delays in salary approval workflows. According to aconso, the plugin is designed to connect directly with business intelligence tools including Power BI and Tableau.

The rollout follows research indicating increased pressure on HR departments to demonstrate measurable outcomes. Aconso cites findings that 54% of global senior HR leaders report higher expectations to show the impact of their initiatives, with 37% identifying AI and automation as important to developing new evaluation methods.

Access to integrated reporting and analytics

aconso Insights allows HR teams to conduct internal accounting and monitor metrics related to hiring and issue resolution. Users will be able to define their own analytics dashboards based on organizational priorities.

Ulrich Jaenicke, Founder and CEO of aconso, says: “KPIs aren’t just metrics — they’re proof that HR truly drives business success and is a strategic partner within a business. However, it’s difficult for many HR teams to prove their impact. That’s because many have been managing analytics in silos or relying on intuition when evaluating HR performance.”

Jaenicke adds: “With aconso Insights, we’re giving HR teams of all sizes the access and visibility they need to lead decisively, act on insight, and turn people strategy into measurable business outcomes.”

Administrators will be able to activate the plugin through a new tab in the aconso Admin Centre and connect it with their preferred BI system. Dashboards can be configured to reflect specific HR objectives or business requirements.
