HMH says Texas State Board of Education has approved its Math 180 Texas for adoption in Grades 3-8

Adaptive learning specialist HMH says its Math 180 Texas program has been approved by the Texas State Board of Education for use in Grades 3-8, receiving the highest quality score in the ‘supplemental math’ category.

Math 180 Texas offers an evidence-based program specifically designed for students performing below grade level. It uses a blended learning approach, integrating both print and digital resources, offering real-time progress monitoring and a focus on conceptual understanding.

It has previously demonstrated significant gains in math proficiency and confidence for striving learners, with one study showing Math 180 can achieve up to two years’ worth of growth in a single academic year.

"Math 180 Texas's approval for the Texas IMRA list underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, research-based intervention solutions that drive measurable growth for students and empower educators," comments Amy Dunkin, President, Intervention Solutions at HMH.

"Designed to close learning gaps and foster success with engaging student-centered experiences, Math 180 Texas builds confidence and creates opportunities for all learners to thrive."

The program’s inclusion on the new list follows a rigorous review and public comment process, ensuring alignment with state standards and suitability for the needs of Texas students and educators.
