FutureLearn launches new online learning platform aiming to ‘revolutionize workplace learning’
FutureLearn, an online learning provider, has launched FLx, a new platform aimed at businesses and learning and development teams, aiming to provide a more personalized approach to workplace training.

Using Viblio’s AI technology, as well as FutureLearn’s extensive content network, FLx offers personalized learning experiences aligned with their specific roles, skill needs and career ambitions.
The platform also includes Leo, an AI-powered career coach to provide “unparalleled personalization” and learning support.
Businesses can integrate internal content directly into employee learning journeys on FLx, ensuing a holistic and adaptable approach to professional learning.
Ian Howell, Managing Director of FutureLearn, says: “With talent shortages and rapidly evolving technology changing the way we work, many companies are under immense pressure to upskill their teams quickly. We created FLx to revolutionise businesses’ traditional approach to workplace learning and development.
“FLx places personalisation, accessibility and real-world impact at the heart of corporate learning. It’s designed to help organisations upskill their employees quickly and effectively, through quality, curated content from a wealth of credible learning providers.
“There’s growing recognition that employees feel valued through their growth as a person, not just as a professional. FLx has been created to inspire learners, giving them their own personal career coach to help them develop confidence and purpose in their current role, while also empowering them to develop and reskill to stay resilient against today’s changing business landscape.”
