WorldQuant University names Gbemi Disu as its Senior Vice President of Global Partner Development

WorldQuant University (WQU) has announced the appointment of Gbemi Disu as its Senior Vice President of Global Partner Development.
The newly created role of Senior Vice President of Global Partner Development will play a key role in WQU’s leadership, executing on its strategic goals.
Disu will lead sourcing and development of partnerships across government, industry, and academia. She will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to increase engagement with current markets and expand into new ones.

Disu has almost 20 years of experience in higher education, financial services, and energy sectors across North America, Asia, Africa and Europe. She has previously held roles at organizations including HSBC Bank, Northeastern University, Carnegie Mellon University, Chevron Texaco, George Mason University and others.
She is also a Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executive Fellow and holds a Doctorate in Global Leadership and Sustainability from London Graduate School.
