New report from Colossyan claims AI avatars are transforming education, work and everyday life
A new report from AI video and avatar platform Colossyan claims artificial intelligence (AI) avatars are having a revolutionary impact on a range of sectors as educators and employees see potential in the technology.
The Colossyan State of AI Avatars Report explores the impact and potential of AI avatars in various sectors.
Colossyan surveyed 1,000 workers in the U.S. about their thoughts on AI avatars. It found 91 percent of U.S. workers believe they can enhance productivity and efficiency at work and 88 percent see potential for them to create more knowledgeable workers through instant access to information.
63 percent of survey respondents desire personalized learning experiences guided by AI avatars and 47 percent would prefer an AI avatar as an academic tutor over a human counterpart.
The report suggests AI avatars could play an increasing role in workplace learning as survey respondents showed a strong interest in training sessions led by avatars. Just 19 percent of companies are currently using this technology, but 64 percent of workers said they would attend additional training sessions if the technology were used due to the personalized nature of the content.
Additionally, the report also found 57 percent of workers would feel more comfortable giving feedback during AI avatar-led training sessions and 77 percent would ask more questions to see how the avatar responds. Just over half (54 percent) of workers said they were likely to pay closer attention and retain information better during these training sessions.
Workers believe businesses could benefit from using AI avatars to announce new product features or share business updates and 89 percent of workers anticipate that AI-generated videos and avatars will play a key role in future workplace communication and interactions.
Earlier this year, Motive introduced AI Coach, a software product that generates personalized coaching videos to help organizations manage driver safety at scale.
