Universal Music Group and The Roundhouse team up to create new digital platform to inspire next generation
Universal Music Group (UMG) has announced a new partnership with leading performing arts venue The Roundhouse to launch a new digital platform for young people.
The new platform aims to create opportunities for young people to access creative learning and develop their skills. It will also allow them to connect with new people and access industry professionals.
“The Roundhouse and Universal Music Group are two powerhouses of creativity,” comments Michaela Greene, Partnerships and Impact Director at the Roundhouse.
“Together, we’re giving more young people the chance to find their voice, grow in confidence, learn new skills and unlock their potential through creativity. At a time when access to the arts matters more than ever, this partnership is a powerful statement of belief in the next generation.”
The two organizations have previously worked together, with the venue hosting events for UMG’s early talent program.
Sharlotte Ritchie, Senior Director of Global Impact and Communications at UMG adds: “We are so excited to build on our relationship with the Roundhouse, cultivating a safe, collaborative space for young people to explore, learn and connect creatively - without being confined by geographical borders.”
