Transact+ CBORD names ex-Udemy CEO Greg Brown as CEO and announces rebrand to Illumia
Transact+ CBORD, a higher education and healthcare software specialist, has announced plans to rebrand to Illumia, starting in March 2026. The company has also named ex-Udemy CEO Greg Brown as its new CEO.
Brown will join Transact+ CBORD in January 2026, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in technology. At Udemy, he helped the company grow into a $750 million learning platform, integrating AI across its learning products.
Brown has also previously served as CEO at Reflektive and held senior leadership positions at Blackhawk Network and WebEx.
"Greg’s deep commitment to customer success, combined with his track record of scaling SaaS businesses and driving operational excellence, makes him the ideal leader for this next chapter," says Harold Flynn, Group Executive at Roper Technologies.
"As Illumia, this business is positioned to be the definitive technology partner for higher education and healthcare institutions, and we're confident he will accelerate that vision."
Transact+ CBORD says its new name reflects its aim to bring clarity and innovation to all experiences, illuminating pathways for its customers.
"Illumia sits at the intersection of mission-critical operations and meaningful human experiences—dining halls, campus access, patient care, tuition payments; moments that shape how people feel about the brands they're part of," adds Brown. "My career has been built on helping software and payments organizations deliver for their customers through technology, and Illumia is a unique opportunity to do both at scale.”
The new brand will be formally announced at the company’s annual conference in March 2026 in Nashville.
