Fairfield University expands marketing master’s program with new AI specialization
Fairfield University’s masters in marketing analytics and strategy program has announced a new partnership with the Category Management Association (CMA) and new specializations, including one focused on AI.
The partnership with CMA allows Fairfield students to gain industry certifications such as the Certified Professional Category Analyst (CPCA) certificate, giving graduates a competitive advantage.
“Earning the CMA certification as part of the Category Management and Shopper Insights course was a meaningful experience that really increased my understanding of how data supports effective marketing decisions,” says student Daniella Medvedeva, who earned the CMA certification.
“The partnership with CMA is such a valuable opportunity for Fairfield students — it provides practical, industry-recognized experience that gives us a true competitive edge as we enter the marketing field.”
The course includes seven specializations for students to choose from, including AI, business analytics, management, media, finance, product management, and research. AI is also integrated across the main curriculum.
A designated STEM program, offered online or in a hybrid format, offers hands-on work with companies including BIC, Henkel, and Edgewell.
