Codeyoung raises $5 million in Series A funding to support the global expansion of its learning platform

Codeyoung, an India-based learning platform, has raised $5 million in Series A funding to support its global expansion.

Led by 12 Flags Group and Enzia Venture, the funding will allow Codeyoung to expand its international presence, introduce new learning categories, and build AI-driven personalization tools.

Founded in 2020, Codeyoung has so far operated with minimal seed funding and currently attracts most of its revenue from North America.

“Parents choose us for two reasons — skilled educators and visible learning progress,” explains Shailendra Dhakad, Co-founder & CEO at Codeyoung.

“We’ve built a model where outcomes come first. Students learn at their own pace, while parents have full visibility into their child’s progress. Families everywhere want learning that feels personal, dependable, and measurable. This investment allows us to bring that experience to more children across the world.”

Codeyoung aims to make screentime more active for children and help them develop problem-solving skills. It also hopes to help develop confidence, training all its teachers in social-emotional learning.

Rakesh Kapoor, Founder of 12 Flags Group and former Global CEO of Reckitt Benckiser, adds: “Education is most transformative when institutional learning is complemented with personalized, 1-1 guidance. Codeyoung has thoughtfully integrated AI to make that personalization scalable – delivering outcomes at scale without losing the human connection. We’re thrilled to back a team that truly understands how kids learn best”.
