UK-based learning platform Thrive acquires mentoring and coaching business Guider

In a post on LinkedIn, Thrive announced: “We’re officially welcoming Guider, the UK’s leading mentorship and coaching platform, into the Thrive family.”
The Nottingham-based organization says the partnership will allow it to match mentors and mentees using AI and offer “ready-to-go coaching programs” in minutes. It will also train and endorse mentors and coaches, while also supporting human connections.
“In an AI-driven world, we believe human connection is going to be more in demand than ever. This is a major step forward in our mission to evolve how people learn at work and we’re so excited to have the Guider team now on it with us,” the company added.
Thrive, which focuses on workplace learning and education, says it has more than 3 million users worldwide, with customers including Asos, Vodafone, Avon and Burger King.
Guider, which uses AI to match coaches and mentors with mentees, says its platform can help improve employee development, satisfaction and retention and has worked with clients including LVMH, FeverTree and EY.
Michael Main, Director of Strategic Accounts at Thrive, comments: “While everyone else is going all-in on AI, we’re doubling down on people. Real connections, real development, real results.”
In a post on LinkedIn, Guider confirmed it would also continue to run as a standalone platform.
