Anthropic and Salesforce deepen alliance to make Claude a preferred model in Agentforce for regulated sectors
Partnership adds secure Claude access in Salesforce’s trust boundary, sector-specific AI solutions, and tighter Slack workflows.
Anthropic and Salesforce have expanded their partnership to make Claude a preferred model for Agentforce, Salesforce’s agentic AI platform, targeting customers in financial services, healthcare, cybersecurity, and life sciences. Anthropic’s model traffic will run inside Salesforce’s virtual private cloud, with the integration delivered via Amazon Bedrock.
Anthropic builds the Claude family of frontier AI models. Salesforce provides customer relationship management (CRM) software and AI services including Agentforce and the broader Einstein platform.
Anthropic becomes the first LLM provider fully integrated within Salesforce’s trust boundary, keeping Claude inference traffic contained in Salesforce’s VPC. Early users include CrowdStrike and RBC Wealth Management.

Industry solutions start with financial services
The companies will co-develop sector solutions, beginning with financial services. By pairing Claude for Financial Services with Agentforce Financial Services, AI agents are intended to summarize portfolios, flag regulatory changes, and automate consent tracking and outreach, combining CRM context with industry updates for compliance-ready workflows.
Building on this month’s integration, Claude will work with Slack via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to summarize channels and threads, extract decisions, draft updates, and pull connected insights from Salesforce CRM, Tableau, and other apps—moving work from discussion to action within Slack.
Both companies adopt each other’s tools
Salesforce is deploying Claude Code across its global engineering organization, tying documentation and context into Slack. Anthropic is using Claude within Slack to summarize conversations and support internal sales workflows. Agentforce powered by Anthropic is available today for select customers; Claude–Slack bi-directional integrations are available today. Additional regulated-industry solutions and deeper Agentforce 360 integration for Claude are in development.
